Accademie Eventuali
A new workshop fuels budding creativity under the wing of two multi-disciplinary guest artists who choose and develop a theme based around current events and on the urban context
Accademie Eventuali is an educational project dedicated to 10 students from Italian Academies of Fine Arts, articulated through a 10-day workshop conducted by two renowned artists from different disciplines. The project was held in two editions, each workshop resulting in an exhibition. It was held at the Museum of the History of Bologna, housed within the Palazzo Pepoli Vecchio. The artists chose the contents by tapping into the events happening in the city at the time and by exploiting any possible synergies, creating a moment of exchange and giving young creativity an opportunity to develop insight. The students were selected by a scientific committee composed of Chiara Bertola (curator, Fondazione Furla), Gianfranco Maraniello (director, MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna) and Andrea Lissoni (curator, Xing).
