HOPE HUNTERS: A JOURNEY AMID COLOURS, SOUNDS, LANGUAGES AND DESIRES
Guided tour for primary school parties:  duration 90 min

A playful, sensory journey that transforms the exhibition and the collection into an adventure in search of hope. Children actively explore the artworks on display, searching for the words and messages they contain, and in doing so learn to view the world from unexpected viewpoints, just like Shilpa Gupta’s sculptures do. Through play and direct interaction, young visitors discover that even absence can tell stories and that every voice, however small, has the power to be heard. At the end of the visit, each participant creates a colourful balloon on which to write a hope and chase away a fear.

GEOGRAPHIES OF DISSENT: TRUTH AND CONTROL IN THE DIGITAL ERA
Guided tour for secondary school parties– duration: 90 min

A critical exploration of the relationship between the individual, the state and information, ranging from Pellizza da Volpedo’s collective march for rights to Shilpa Gupta’s conceptual installations. Through the works on display, students analyse how language and the media shape our perception of reality and how censorship may be challenged by collective memory. The exhibition encourages reflection on the ‘fragility of freedom’ and on the active role of the citizen in contemporary society
