Free activity for families with children aged 6–11
An interactive exhibition path designed to foster dialogue between different generations on universal themes such as fear, hope and the sense of belonging. The tour brings together Pellizza da Volpedo’s Il Quarto Stato (The Fourth Estate) with installations by Shilpa Gupta, in a multisensory experience that invites visitors to reflect together on how boundaries may be overcome – not just on maps but also in everyday relationships. The tour concludes with a creative workshop that explores the key themes of the exhibition: participants work together to ‘dismantle’ rigid symbols and reconstruct new spaces for identity, sharing and dialogue. Drawing inspiration from Gupta’s work Stars on Flags of the World, each family will have the chance to imagine and create their own ideal flag.
